Our clients approached us with the ambition of creating a comfortable additional bedroom complete with a modern en-suite. The goal was to provide much-needed space for their growing family while improving everyday living and adding long-term value to their home.

The new accommodation needed to feel like a natural part of the existing property rather than a separate addition. The design had to provide a bright and spacious bedroom with a practical en-suite without compromising the size, functionality or character of the existing rooms.

We explored several layout options, including rear and side extensions, to identify the most effective use of the available space.
Detailed floor plans and 3D visualisations helped the clients understand how each option would look and function before selecting their preferred design. Particular consideration was given to headroom, drainage, natural light and the positioning of the en-suite to create a practical layout that complied with the relevant requirements.
Following consultation and design refinement, we prepared and submitted the planning application. We then worked through the planning process and addressed the local authority’s requirements to successfully secure approval.
